Another of the biggest events of 2016 for me as I take my full five piece band to one of the biggest festivals in the country. This line up is a rare and beautiful thing. I really can't wait!
ANGE HARDY
(vocals, guitar, loop pedal, harp, whistle)
Hot on the heels of her nomination for the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards this year, Ange’s new album, “Esteesee”, is based on the works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. She is a previous winner of FATEA’s Female Vocalist of the Year (2014) and Album of the Year (2015) awards, and has just been awarded a Creative Artist Residency by EFDSS
LUKAS DRINKWATER
(vocals, upright bass)
Most regularly found playing huge festival stages with 3 Daft Monkey’s, Lukas is one of the most in-demand
musicians around. He has also toured extensively with Jim Causley, and recently formed a duo with the highly-rated singer songwriter Tobias ben Jacob.
ARCHIE CHURCHILL-MOSS
(diatonic accordion)
Archie is one-third of BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award-winners Moore, Moss & Rutter, and his accordion-playing featured on Ange’s latest album, “Esteesee”.
EVAN CARSON
(percussion)
A hardened festival regular, Evan is usually to be found drumming for The Willows, and is also a member of The
Sam Kelly Trio.
