The Great Big Almonry Folk Weekend - Evesham

The Great Big Almonry Folk Weekend will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April 2015, with events taking place at both the Almonry and Evesham Arts Centre. The full line-up will be announced early in 2015, when tickets will go on sale.

"We are pleased to announce that FATEA magazine's female vocalist of the year Ange Hardy will be performing at the
Great Big Almonry Folk Weekend next April. The rising star from Somerset released her highly acclaimed third CD, The Lament of the Black Sheep, in September 2014.
The album received a five star review in the Daily Telegraph, and songs from it have received nationwide airplay on BBC Radio 2 as well as earning praise from the likes of Mike Harding, who said:"Ange Hardy writes new songs that sometimes sound for all the world as though they are in fact deeply traditional, I really do like her stuff!”
Ange will be performing at Evesham Arts Centre on the evening of Saturday 18th April 2015."
