When I first picked up a Guitar, sat on the streets in Ireland in 1997, and fumbled around finding a note on each string that would harmonise with it's neighbour, I had no idea I was creating a chord. (let alone a chord that already existed!). It turns out that the chords A, E and D saw me through one of the most lonely, difficult and eventful years of my life. From then on a trend was set, I'd found an outlet that would later become my councillor, my career, my mentor and my best friend.

My life has been bursting with reasons to write, experiences are gifts to me, feelings and emotions are inspiration and without it I would surely have gone mad several times over!

I've loved music ever since I can remember. I was born in 1983 and grew up with my two brothers in a little village near Taunton Somerset. My father left us when I was five and my mum bought us up alone, always seeing potential in us and never letting us pass up any opportunity, we were always learning an instrument of some kind, Drums, piano, flute, violin. I never took to being taught though, it was so frustrating that when i was being shown something I'd already know from hearing it that once and would just 'copycat' my way through. So I followed my heart and am completely self taught.

Coping with various milestones in my life has been a challenge, after my brother died in 1995 of meningitis and I moved through a few foster homes, I found myself desperate to find a way of communicating my feelings. Writing and sharing my music gave me all that and more.

My music is me.
